Reese’s Senior Bowl to host Georgia Football players

One of the talking points for the 2021 Georgia soccer team is how many potential talent in the NFL Draft currently playing on a star roster. Almost every opposing coach Georgia has faced this season at one point or another in one of their press conferences emphasizes how talented Georgia is this team this season.

Former Georgia special teams coordinator to South Carolina head coach Shane Beamer most certainly made the point during his post-game press conference. He spoke of the vast amount of talent available to head coach Kirby Smart for the past six years.

“They have about 100 five-star footballers on their defense.”

Many of these “100 Five Star Soccer Players” will be competing in the annual Reese’s Senior Bowl, which gives some of college football’s top senior players a chance to show off their skills in front of scouts and NFL officials for a week, at the end two hopeful NFL teams face off in a demo game with two selected NFL coaching staff.

It’s also a solid indication of the player’s intentions when it comes to making the NFL Draft. With the NCAA offering additional years of eligibility due to the coronavirus, things got confused here.

It’s no surprise that the Senior Bowl is packed with Bulldogs, as current Executive Director Jim Nagy is one of many to have praised the Georgia team.

So far, only five current Georgian players have been announced as accepting their invitations to participate in the Senior Bowl. Yet on Twitter Nagy said the “race” against Georgian players is only just beginning.
