Richard Sherman picks Alabama in Georgia Football rematch

Former Stanford cornerback has now become Tampa Bay Buccaneers cornerback Richard Sherman, who offered his prediction on the National Championship game scheduled for Monday at 8:00 p.m. EST inside Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana.

During his podcast, the most recent episode of “The Richard Sherman Podcast,” Sherman offered his prediction on the Alabama-Georgia rematch of this season’s 2021 SEC Championship game, where Alabama defeated Georgia. 41-24 after being listed as a close touchdown outsider. It was the first time since 2015 that Alabama had entered a game that was not among the favorites.

“It will be Alabama that will blow them away again.”

The former Stanford man said he believes Alabama will blow up Georgia again, despite Vegas ranking the Bulldogs ranked No.3 as a 2.5-point favorite over the Crimson Tide.

It’s an interesting choice, to say the least, for a team that lost by 17 points in their last game to be favored again in the rematch a few weeks later. Perhaps Georgia’s convincing win over Michigan had something to do with it.
