Single-match sales and promotion schedule announced for 2022 UK football season – UK Athletics

LEXINGTON, Ky. — Kentucky’s football promotional schedule for the 2022 eight-game home slate at Kroger Field has been announced.

Single tickets for all eight home games will be available to the general public beginning Monday, July 11 at 9 a.m., exclusively online at Ticketmaster.com. Football season ticket holders can take advantage of a presale with exclusive prices that is currently underway via My UK account.

Tickets are priced according to a flexible model that takes into account the opponent and the seats. Depending on the opponent and the zone, the price of tickets for a match will vary from $25 to $115.

The United Kingdom is coming off a fourth straight bowl win, as the Cats edged Iowa in the Citrus Bowl to end last season with a 10-3 record. The Cats are 47-29 the past six seasons, all of which have ended in trips to bowl games.

Kentucky will face a demanding schedule at home in 2022. The Cats host defending national champion Georgia as well as intrastate rival Louisville in Lexington this year. Southeastern Conference opponents South Carolina, Mississippi State and Vanderbilt will also visit Kroger Field this season.

Miami, Ohio – September 3 at 7 p.m.

The United Kingdom will host Miami (Ohio) in the season opener for both teams on September 3. The season opener will also be Kentucky Cheer Youth Day, with cheerleaders from across the region invited to attend. More information on Kentucky Cheer Youth Day will be announced at a later date.

Youngstown State – September 17 at noon

The Cats host Youngstown State on Sept. 17. The game will be Military Recognition/Heroes Day and will also be girl scout day and Kentucky Dance Youth Day.

Through a partnership with GovXUK Athletics is pleased to offer members of Heroes Day groups a free ticket to the match in addition to specially priced guest tickets when purchased from UKathletics.com/GovX, while supplies last. Please note that this offer will be available from July 18, exclusively online via GovX before match day.

The September 17 match will also be Kentucky Dance Youth Day, with dance teams from across the region invited to attend. More information about this event will be announced later.

Northern Illinois – September 24 (Time to be determined)

Kentucky’s third home game of the season will serve as family weekend. Organized by the UK Parent & Family Association, Family Weekend welcomes UK student families to campus for a weekend full of autumn activities. For more information on Family Weekend, visit uky.edu/FamilyWeekend.

Alumni group day will take place at Kroger Field on September 24. the University of Kentucky Alumni Association is one of the largest and most active alumni associations on campus. Each year the UK Alumni Band hold a reunion where they perform with the Wildcat Marching Band at a home football game. Specially priced tickets will be available to attendees and their guests for Kentucky’s game against Northern Illinois, and information will be released to alumni later this summer.

South Carolina – October 8 (time TBD)

Kentucky and South Carolina meet on the grill Agricultural overview weekend on the UK campus. The game on October 8 will also be Teacher Appreciation Day.

As part of Additional course for teachers at Kroger Field, UK will participate in the College Football Playoff Foundation’s Additional course for teachers The week. Extra Yard for Teachers elevates the teaching profession by inspiring and empowering teachers through the implementation of programs in four priority areas: resources, recognition, recruitment and professional development.

All teachers, in addition to University of Kentucky faculty and staff, will be able to purchase specially priced tickets to Kentucky’s football game against South Carolina. More details, including the exclusive online ordering link, will be released soon. Purchases will be limited to those with Kentucky Public Schools email address domains (“@COUNTY.kyschools.us”). Purchases from University of Kentucky faculty and staff will be limited to those with a UK email address (“@uky.edu”). Mississippi State – October 15 (time TBD)

107th UK Edition Back home will take place as the Wildcats take on Mississippi State at Kroger Field. Former pupils and friends will gather in Lexington for fun and camaraderie as the UK celebrates 107e University of Kentucky Homecoming. Vanderbilt – November 12 (time TBD)

The Nov. 12 contest against Vanderbilt will be Hall of fame weekend. UK Athletics will officially induct its 2022 Hall of Fame class this weekend, and new Hall of Famers will be recognized on the pitch at the Vanderbilt game.

UK Athletics will pay special tribute to veterans as part of annual Kentucky football Tribute to veterans Thu. More details on this event will be available later this fall.

Fans are encouraged to visit the Chairs of Honor, dedicated during the 2018 season by Rolling Thunder, a non-profit organization dedicated to raising awareness of the POW/MIA issue. The chairs of honor are empty black stadium chairs with a plaque each dedicating to soldiers who have made the ultimate sacrifice, been held prisoners of war, are listed as missing in action, and those currently serving. These chairs of honor are located in each corner of Kroger Field’s Upper Lobby.

November 12 will also be scout day, with scouts across the state having access to specially priced $15 tickets. Scouts will also have the opportunity to participate in the Physiotherapy and First Aid Merit Badges event in August.

The November 12 contest will also be Sports day and activities for young people, where youth teams from across the region will be eligible for specially priced tickets starting at $15. Georgia – November 19 (time TBD)

Kentucky hosts defending national champion Georgia at Kroger Field on November 19. Match tickets for this highly anticipated game will be limited, and the best way to ensure you get a ticket is to purchase a subscription package.

Louisville – November 26 (time TBD)

The home roster is coming to an end as the Cats host Louisville on Nov. 26. The United Kingdom will celebrate the 2022 senior class during senior day festivities before the game.
