Daquayvious Sorey withdraws from Georgian football

Daquayvious Sorey, a 2023 wide receiver from Chipley, Fla. and cousin of current Georgia linebacker Xavian Sorey, has opted out of the University of Georgia.

Sorey committed to Georgia in February 2021, just weeks after his older cousin Xavian signed with the Georgia Bulldogs.

Now, Sorey will reopen his recruiting as he enters his senior season.

That brings the Georgia class back to eight commitments in the Class of 2023, which is just getting started for the most part.

Raymond Cottrell now becomes the only committed wide receiver in the 2023 class, although Georgia already has plenty of offensive weapons on board with Pearce Spurlin and Lawson Luckie already stocked.
